I have played around with the Marcelline mirror image polishes that i also have got from Broke. Boy or boy - this stuff is fantastic!!! It would nether catch my eyes in the bottles but when i finally tried it on i was really impressed and committed some experiments. I liked it so much that i have it now on my finger nails and on the toe nail too :)
This is a 2 step process, the base goes first and then the silver color. First time you put in on it looks more matte then shiny, but once dry it is very very shyny. My husband even asked me if i glued some aluminum foil on nails this time :) But this describe it so well - it does really look like aluminum foil, so it is kind of hard to catch this shines on picture, but i did my best.
This is a very first design i made on my great discover - i certainly just stamped it with the 2 tones color. By the way top coat application doese not afect the shines significantly. On my all designs i used only one coat of base and one coat of silver.

So stamping the images on the mirror is just a piece of cake, especially because it dyes really really quick. But then i went even further, and stamped my nails with the mirror polishes. The base is a really important step, because just silver without the base soes not shine as it suppose to. So applyed the main black color, and then i applied the mirror base on it. At first it look a little nasty, and give you some licking of color, but don't worry, it all is gone once mirror base drys
So when the base dry i stamped nails with silver mirror polish. Stamping is a little tricky, sometimes you don't get thick enough layer of polish and you dont get the shine, my recommendation is to put a really thick layer on the image plate, sometime even scrape it twice - apply polish in the image plate, scrape, and really quick apply again and scrape again, so the layer that you pick up with stamper is thick enough.
It look really good, isn't it? :) You can do it not only on black but also on almost every color, even on the light once it usually works fine. except may be white. But another really cool way to stamp your nails like this is to do french. After drowning the white smile on the end of nail cover all the nail with the mirror base - in fact it really gives you nice smoother effect on the nail and on the smile too. Once it all dry simply stamp the nails this the mirror silver. I didn't do a really good job on stamping this time, so you can see that it is not really shiny - the problem is that the layer of silver was not thick enough as i disused above. But if make a good stamping it look really adorable.
And finally the pictures of what i actually have on my nails right now. I love this shiny manicure and i see a great potential of the mirror image from Marcelline for nail decorations . In other worlds - i just love it. !!! hope this post will make some of you find your dusty mirror kits and try to make some designs using it, because this is really good stuff.
