MAD FOR PLAID

On these nails I used a martha stewart glitter in brownstone mixed with clear acrylic. After I finished filing the nails I used a striping brush to paint on a plaid pattern. Finally I added a 3d pumpkin. This plaid pattern would be really cute using Christmas colors also.

Same idea as above just without the pumpkin.

On these nails I used acrylic in brownstone and added some festive Thanksgiving themed stickers. I also added orange and yellow dots with polish.

Last Chance Trick or Treat

Ok, here is what i came up today for the party. I wanted to do somehting military to match the costume, but in last minute decided to go with orange.

Happy Halloween!

As a tradition i again just broke my nail today, so i had to cut the rest short and all my great Halloween manicure plans are canceled now. But at least i admire all the beautiful winter manicures that i have got for the contest. By the way, i am not really strict about dead line for the contest, and if you were thinking to enter but did not have time to make one, i give you an extra day - Sunday to submit your entry.
So here is what i had today on my "Again short" nail .We are dressing up with my husband as bloody military couple, so my manicure will be military themed too. But you know what? I think i did really a lot Halloween manicures this year starting September ,that till the actual Halloween i got tired of doing Halloween manicures. :)
So happy Halloween to all of you - my dear Nail-art lovers. Booo....

OPPOSITE FADE

On these nails I switched the fade colors on every other nail. I also added fimo clay leaves from kennickkreations.com

PUMPKIN FADE

This is a fade I did with acrylic in acorn and ripe plum. I made a 3d pumpkin with ez flow acryic in candy corn. First I dip my brush in the monomer and damp it out on a paper towel. Then I pick up a small ball of orange acrylic. I place it on the nail and damp my brush out again. I shape it into a pumpkin then I lightly push a cuticle pusher into the acrylic to make it look like it has ridges like a real pumpkin. I then add a tiny bit of green acrylic to make a stem. Last I add a vine with a nail art pen. Of course I finish everything off with a gel top coat.

FADE FADE FADE FADE.....

Ok so I've done a lot of fades lately. Well when you start doing them they are addicting because they are just sooooo cool! This one is done with acrylic in blackberry and mystery.

POLKA DOTS, FADE, AND FUN!

On these nails I did a fade and then switched it up by doing white acrylic with dots on the ring fingers. Doing something different on the ring fingers is such an easy way to make the nails stand out and they're just cute and fun!

PURPLE FLOWER

On these nails I added flower stickers into the acrylic. I used a small drill bit and drilled a straight line on the edge of the nail. I filled it in with the purple acrylic. To finish off these nails I added dots with nail polish.

Hand Painted Flower

I keep practicing with my acrylic paint sand free hand drawing. Most of the time i still screw it up, but some are not bad. I wish i had bigger nails, or other people to practice on, because doing it on myself is really limited. I hope one day i ll have something really outstanding to show you, but for now here is one of tose "Not that bad flowers"
People who are really good at drawign are probably lauthing :D

Boo-Bag Inspired Nails

Hello Dear Nail-art Lovers.
I can not believe that i totally forgot about this absolutely cute mani that i was going to post a while ago. So this manicure is inspired by the Boo-Bag - as me and my husband call it :)
I got this Boo-Bag from Jamie (Nail-Art Tuesday) and i just still admire it, i think ti is the cutest Boo-Bag ever, and it inspired my manicure.
The eyes of spider are MADE of the little Perls and i just placed a black dot on it, so eyes are not flat, but rather in 3D :)
And just a quick update on the contest, just wanted to let you know that i have not got that many entries yet so believe the chances to win for the new entries are still quite good (so far i have 8 entries only - and they all are adorable).

PUMPKIN PATCH

On these nails I did a fade with acrylic in ripe plum and kooky colors. I added fimo clay pumpkins. On the ring fingers I did a 3D pumpkin with acrylic. I used a nail art pen to paint a little pumpkin vine. Now my client has a full on pumpkin patch right on her nails!

COPPER HILLS HOMECOMING

These nails are done with opi gel nail polish in Russian Navy. Gel nail polish is amazing! It looks just like regular nail polish but it lasts up to 3 weeks with no chipping! I painted a CH (Copper Hills) on the ring fingers to add some school spirit!

One Stroke Nail Art

Here is my second attempt to do this kind of nail art. But first i have to tell you soemthing - all my life i was seriously bad at painting .I can do nails - but real painting, i cant even draw a circle. So i guess if it was done buy someone more talented it probably would look better. But come on - it is just second attempt.
i really love the look of one stroke flowers in nail art, but however it is really hard to do it on yourself, and so far for me impossible to do it with the left hand. I used acrylic paints, flat brush and ton of video tutorials. I think that once i lern teh technick i will be able to create really cool nails. So i guess this is where you cant really tell teh bodary anymore between art and Nail-Art.
Please let me know would you wear a manicure like this in real life?

Thumb is my favorite, i think ti came out the best, but on some nails butons came up cool too. My real problem is leves - they are just crazy , i need more practice.

Here are some practice on tips, that i have doen yesterday.

My Pink Days

First of all i want to thank everybody who post about my contest in their blogs :)
And i also would like to welcome all the new flowers, thanks for joining my World of Nail Art!
Today i have for you, 2 pink manicures. In fact they both remind me a table cloths that would be probably at the kitchen in the house of Hello Kitty, or somehting like this.
I think those 2 are too cute for me :)
The interesting thing is that for the second many i used color club purple holo "Rule Breaker " to do the stamping - and i am more then happy with the result.
Which of those 2 you think is more cute?

FABULOUS FADE

I definitely go through stages with nail art. Right now I am in the fade stage. You really have to see a fade in person it is much more vibrant and beautiful than it shows in a picture (maybe it's the photographer). This first fade is done with acrylic in hibiscus and purple passion.

This fade is done with mermaid and mystery. I also added pink stars to the ring fingers and hot pink at the tips. Very colorful!

FALL FADE

This is a fade I did with acrylic in ripe plum and acorn. I added fimo clay leaves on the ring fingers.
